Our History

On December 6, 1998, seventeen women came together to establish Delta Phi Omega Sorority at the University of Houston as newly formed sorority. Their vision was to instill friendship, honesty, loyalty, respect, and sisterhood and to promote the advancement of South Asian women.

Through determination and perseverance, this vision soon became a reality and Delta Phi Omega has since become one of the most sought-after organizations for South Asian women across the United States. With each passing year, Delta Phi Omega continues to grow and make its presence known not only within their respective universities but also within the community.
